Facilitation, Consultation, and Supervision

Supervision

Alice understands the importance of community in being a therapist. She has experience offering support to other clinicians from a psychodynamic lens in many settings and has supervised social work interns and other therapy graduate students in her previous role at a college counseling center. This work is incredibly personal and impactful to therapists as well as clients. Alice seeks to create space for the full complexity of being a person alongside the role of a therapist in holding space for other professionals. Given her interests and background, she may be an especially good fit for folks looking to support around…

  • providing therapy within an over-burdened system

  • understanding mixed race therapist identity in the work

  • understanding queer therapist identity in the work

  • supporting clients around trauma and grief

  • integrating psychodynamic, relational, and attachment theories

Alice is glad to offer one-time or regular consultation requests from new therapists. She is eager to talk through particular stuck points, as well as offer more consistent, ongoing support to clinicians who are just starting out.
